West Bengal Assembly Election Results 2026 (Bhabanipur): Will Mamata Banerjee Retain Power For The Fourth Consecutive Term?

The early trends have shown Suvendu Adhikari leading on the Bhabanipur seat, leaving the TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee behind. However, the voting game has turned in favor of ‘Didi’, leaving the BJP leader far behind. Again in the second round of voting the BJP leader has gone ahead of Ms Banerjee with over 1500 votes.

As per the current trends, the Election Commission of India shows that the BJP is running far ahead on 52 seats, while the AITC is running ahead at 28 seats, AJUP and the BGPM on 1-1 seats.

However, early trends were showing a proportional victory for the BJP, but AITC is looking to gain ground as the vote counting progresses.

Currently, the BJP is running ahead in two states, Assam and West Bengal. In the other 3 states, including Kerala, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu, it has failed to attain the success so far.
