BJP Failing In Southern States; Ahead In Assam And West Bengal

The current Election Commission of India data shows that the BJP is running far ahead on 77 seats in Assam, while the INC is trailing with 25 seats, BOPF, AGP at 10-10 seats, and AIUDF at 2 seats.

While the BJP is also running ahead in West Bengal on 104 seats, with AITC following on 60 seats, AJUP, CPI(M), and the BGPM on 1-1-1 seats.

In West Bengal, however, early trends were showing a proportional victory for the BJP, but AITC is looking to gain ground as the vote counting progresses.

Currently, the BJP is running ahead in two states, Assam and West Bengal. In the other 3 states, including Kerala, Puducherry, and Tamil Nadu, it has failed to attain the success so far.

In Puducherry, the BJP has successfully run on 2 seats; however, AINRC is leading in the state. While in two other states – Tamil Nadu and Kerala, the BJP cannot be seen on the voting ladder anywhere.

In Kerala, INC is running ahead on 61 seats, while CPI(M) is trailing on 29 seats and IUML on 22 seats.

In Puducherry, AINRC is running ahead on 7 seats, while IND and BJP are ahead on 3-2 seats, INC and DMK on 2-2 seats each.

In Tamil Nadu TVK has made history with leading on 97 seats while ADMK and DMK are running ahead on 66-37 seats, PMK and INC on 7-3 seats.
