Another X user has lavished praise on Siva Karthikeyan’s different looks and also commended director Rajkumar Periasamy’s exceptional storytelling, calling the film “a must-watch for every true Indian.

A film enthusiast shared his thoughts on the Amaran movie, saying: “I found the film to be decent with a nice first half followed by a decent second half. Sivakarthikeyan delivered well as Mukund, and his portions with Sai Pallavi were emotionally connected. The interval and climax were the highlights of the film. However, the action sequences lacked emotional depth and the narration was slow-paced at times. GV Prakash’s background score and the ‘Minnale’ song were impressive. The bonding between Sivakarthikeyan and his on-screen daughter was heartwarming. Overall, it’s an above-average film worth watching for the theatrical experience.”

However, another social media user  expressed mixed feelings about the first half, labelling it “average.” The user praised the film’s second half, calling it “good” and highlighting the “emotional” impact. He also commended the action sequences and climax.
