According to a report in the Bollywood Hungama, the teaser of the film, also produced by Aamir Khan Productions (AKP), will be attached to Sitaare Zameen Par. Reportedly, the team felt that it would be the right way to let the world know about the first glimpse of the romantic drama.
Directed by Sunil Pandey, the upcoming film reportedly draws inspiration from the Korean film One Day (2011), although there has been no official confirmation on it yet.
The film began shooting in December 2023 in Mumbai. Photos of Junaid and Sai Pallavi surfaced online earlier, creating significant hype to see the fresh pairing onscreen.
Junaid’s third film, Ek Din, was initially slated for a Valentine’s Day release in 2025 but was postponed due to scheduling issues with his theatrical debut, Loveyapa, co-starring Khushi Kapoor, which released on February 7.
Following a successful screen debut with Netflix’s Maharaj, Junaid’s Loveyapa didn’t perform well at the box office.
