Malayalam superstar Mammootty is now joining hands with director Gautham Vasudev Menon in his Malayalam directorial debut, Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse. The team unveiled a fun-filled teaser. Let’s decode what the duo would offer.
Touted to be an action thriller, Mammootty’s character sketched by GVM seems to be a fresh take on the genre, as the star reportedly plays a Sherlock-style character with a fun vibe.

The one minute and seventeen seconds trailer promises a funny yet intriguing ride. The teaser opens with Mammootty’s Sherlock-style character teaching his assistant Gokul Suresh how to defend his enemies.
In the teaser, Gokul’s character, who seems to be scared to ask his boss how to defend himself from the opponents, Dominic calmly responds by teaching him how to hit back and to strike good moves.
Along with Mammootty and Gokul Suresh, the investigative ride also features actors Gokul Suresh, Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu, and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum-fame Viji Venkatesh in prominent roles. The film has been written by Dr. Neeraj Rajan and Dr. Suresh Rajan.

On the technical front, GVM has retained his previous collaborators, including his regular editor Anthony, cinematographer Vishnu Dev, one of the DOPs of Dhruva Natchathiram, and composer Darbuka Siva, known for his work in the director’s 2019 film Enai Noki Paayum Thota. This exciting take of Mammootty on Sherlock Holmes’ style has been written by the acclaimed duo Neeraj-Sooraj.
