Telugu superstar Allu Arjun, who was arrested on Friday, has denied any direct connection to the incident and has expressed his condolences to the victim’s family on Saturday. Allu Arjun explained that he was inside the theatre watching the premiere with his family when the accident happened outside.
While talking to the media, he stated that the incident was purely accidental and unintentional. He also mentioned that he has been going to the same theatre for the last 20 years and has been to the same place more than 30 times without any incidents.

It was on December 4 outside Sandhya Theatre in Hyderabad where a stampede claimed the life of a woman and left her son critically injured. The incident happened during the premiere of Allu Arjun’s latest movie, Pushpa 2: The Rule.
Allu Arjun was arrested by the Telangana police and sent to 14 days of judicial custody. However, he was later granted interim bail by the Telangana High Court. After his release, he expressed his gratitude to his fans and assured them that he was fine.
The Telangana police had registered a case against Allu Arjun and the theatre management under sections 105 and 118(1) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS).
The police alleged that the organisers did not make sufficient arrangements to manage the large crowd that had gathered outside the theatre.
Allu Arjun has assured that he will personally help the victim’s family in whatever way possible and announced Rs 25 lakh for the family.
After his release from jail, Allu Arjun spoke to media reporters and said, “I am a law-abiding citizen and will cooperate with the authorities.” He also expressed his condolences to the deceased lady’s family, calling it an “unfortunate incident.”

Allu Arjun was taken into custody from his house in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills and shifted to Hyderabad’s Chikkadpally police station on Friday. The case was filed by the Chikkadpally police, who have named Allu Arjun as an accused in the stampede case.
Despite the woman’s husband expressing willingness to withdraw the case, stating that Allu Arjun wasn’t responsible for the stampede, the court has decided to proceed with the case.
