Many are questioning why Allu Arjun was arrested while others who were also responsible for different stampedes were not. Users are also asking why the arrest was made on a Friday, when courts are closed on Saturdays and Sundays, calling it a “pre-planned arrest”.

Many users raised concerns about why politicians and ministers aren’t held to the same standards. Users are pointing out the apparent double standard, asking why Chandrababu Naidu and Ashwini Vaishnaw aren’t being arrested for their alleged roles in stampedes and other incidents that resulted in multiple deaths.

People are comparing Allu Arjun’s arrest for one death in a stampede to Chandrababu Naidu’s lack of arrest for eight deaths in a similar incident.

Allu Arjun has been sentenced to 14 days of judicial remand by the court in connection with the case. This means he’ll have to spend at least two days in Chanchalguda Jail, considering tomorrow and the day after are court holidays.
