
"He Walked Into The Hospital Himself": Ibrahim Ali Khan Reveals Details About Saif Ali Khan's Stabbing Case (Image-Instagram/iak)
Ibrahim Ali Khan recently shared his dramatic reminiscence of his father Saif Ali Khan’s stabbing. Sharing the sensitive incident of his life, the actor also clarified some of the rumors that were believed to be true.
The Nadaaniyan actor recalled that he was shooting a night shift on the day the tragic incident took place. Even though his father, Saif Ali Khan, got stabbed by the robber around 2:30 am, Ibrahim was informed at 5:30 am.
“I hadn’t slept that night and I rushed to the hospital to see him,” Ibrahim recalled. He managed to reach the hospital when his father had just come out of the ICU after surgery.

Actor Saif opened his eyes and spoke to his daughter Sara and asked for Ibrahim. While recalling the moment, the actor added, “I was so happy; I said, ‘I’m right here, Dad.” Talking about his emotional moment with his father, he also revealed that Saif told him, “If you were there, you would’ve beaten that guy up.”
And that moment made Ibhrahim weep and he revealed that he wished that he would have been there. About his instant reaction to the unfortunate event, the actor said, “At one point, when I heard he got stabbed, I started to think of the worst-case scenario. That’s a very scary feeling. And it was bad; it was very scary.”

Moreover, Ibrahim also refuted the rumor that states that he took his father to the hospital with his baby brother. On clarifying the claim, he added, “My dad walked into the hospital himself. He walked in with a knife stuck in him and said, ‘I need help’.”
Talking about how the incident has changed his relationship with him, Ibrahim shared, “I feel a lot closer to him now. If someone in your immediate family has a near-death experience, you don’t take them for granted. You become more present in the relationship.”

In January this year, Saif was attacked by an intruder who broke into his house in an attempted burglary. The actor suffered multiple injuries, including near his spine and neck. He underwent multiple surgeries and was discharged after being hospitalized for five days. After the incident, Saif Ali Khan was seen in the Netflix heist thriller Jewel Thief.
Ibrahim Ali Khan’s debut film Nadaaniyan was released on Netflix in March, and since then, he has been the center of attention in more ways than one. The film was produced under Karan Johar’s banner, and also featured Jugal Hansraj, Dia Mirza, Suniel Shetty, and Mahima Chaudhary.
