Scripted Romance or Real Chaos? Netflix Unveils Nadaaniyan Trailer

Mumbai, 1 March 2025: Netflix has released the trailer for Nadaaniyan, a romance that begins as a harmless deal but soon turns into a whirlwind of emotions. Starring debutant Ibrahim Ali Khan and The Archies fame Khushi Kapoor, the film, directed by Shauna Gautam and produced by Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, is set to premiere on March 7.

The story follows Pia Jai Singh (Kapoor), a South Delhi socialite obsessed with crafting her perfect love story, and Arjun Mehta (Khan), a fiercely ambitious middle-class student aiming for the debate team captaincy. Their paths cross when Pia enlists Arjun to pose as her boyfriend, creating the illusion of a flawless relationship with no strings attached. But as scripted romance gives way to unexpected feelings, misunderstandings mount, and they realise that love doesn’t always follow a plan.

With Nadaaniyan, Ibrahim Ali Khan makes his much-anticipated Bollywood debut, sharing the screen with Kapoor, whose on-screen presence in The Archies left a mark. The film also features veteran actors Mahima Chaudhary, Suniel Shetty, Dia Mirza, and Jugal Hansraj, adding depth to the layered narrative.

Director Shauna Gautam, making her feature film debut, shared her excitement about bringing this story to life. “Nadaaniyan captures the innocence and unpredictability of first love.
