Mollywood actor Vinayakan who played villain role in the Rajinikanth starrer movie ‘Jailer’ was arrested on Tuesday by Ernakulam North Police for allegedly raising a ruckus at a police station.
The actor was arrested with charges of behaving uncontrollably in public place in drunken state and for disrupting the police station’s operation. He was called out to the police station for questioning after receiving complaints that he had created ruckus in the apartment where he resides.
The police have said that he has been taken to Ernakulam General Hospital and the medical examination is completed. The North Police station house officer said that the actions were taken because he behaved indecently and will be released soon on a station bail, reports India Today.
On his way back to police station the actor responded to the queries of the media and said that he came to police station to file a complaint. He then pointed to the police officer and said “ask him why he bought me here. I don’t know anything about the case. I came here to file a complaint. I am very tired right now. They (police) might even say that I am a women molester and I misbehaved to a woman here”.
On Tuesday afternoon, Vinayakan called the police to his apartment in Ernakulam Kaloor following an argument with his wife. The police took the statement of both and returned. While Vinayakan who was unsatisfied followed them to the police station which eventually lead to his arrest, reports manoramaonline.
On work front, Vinayakan’s role in ‘Jailer’ has captured the hearts of many with his awestruck acting skills. The much-awaited Gautham Menon’s ‘Dhruva Natchathiram’ trailer dropped on Monday hints Vinayakan to appear once again in villain role. The trailer promises to showcase Vinayakan as the main antagonist in the movie.
