Ernakulam, Kerala: In Ernakulam, voter turnout was estimated to be 79.89%. This indicates that voters in all the constituencies were highly active during the assembly election in Kerala, although there were some differences in voter turnout in the urban and suburban areas.

In terms of constituencies that have exhibited high voting turnouts, Kunnathunad had the highest percentage of voters at 84.09%, followed by Paravur with 81.96%, where Leader of Opposition V. D. Satheesan will be competing with the LDF opponent. In the same way, Kalamassery has had 81.59% participation rate where P. Rajeeve of LDF will be contesting against V. E. Abdul Gafoor of UDF.

In other constituencies with strong turnout, Aluva recorded 80.78%, with UDF’s Anwar Sadath contesting against the LDF candidate, while Kochi (80.33%) and Vypin (80.50%) also saw high participation, reflecting steady voter mobilisation in coastal and urban areas. Perumbavoor registered 80.40%, while Kothamangalam recorded 79.30%, both showing consistent turnout patterns in semi-urban and high-range regions.

Urban constituencies such as Ernakulam recorded 78.17%, while Thrikkakara saw 78.85% turnout, where the contest between UDF and LDF candidates remains closely fought in a politically significant urban seat. Muvattupuzha also reported 78.11%, indicating moderate but steady participation.

Relatively lower turnout was recorded in Angamaly at 75.62% and Piravom at 76.43%, suggesting comparatively subdued voter mobilisation in these constituencies.

Throughout the district voters remained calm while casting a ballot; having a steady stream of activity throughout the entire day. From current trends; we can see that suburbs will probably have more to say than other urban parts do when it comes down to voting; however there seems to be no distinct winner or winner that stands out; therefore we believe that the final results will be based on the ways in which each district votes (consolidation of vote) within this highly challenged area.
