Shah Rukh Khan returned as Mufaza along with his sons Aryan Khan, who is the voice behind Simba, and AbRam as young Mufasa. The actor while sharing his experience of working on this sequel also expressed that he could deeply connect with the character Mufasa, especially on imparting wisdom to his sons. He also added that it was a special collaboration of him with Disney because of his sons.

Suhana Khan, who is missing in this iconic family collaboration made her Bollywood debut with The Archives in 2023, and Arya Khan has completed the shoot of the directorial debut series Stardom.
