Did Shah Rukh Khan Really Get Injured On Set? Here’s The Truth
Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan found himself at the centre of an internet-fueled rumour storm. Speculation recently surged across social media platforms and online portals, suggesting that the iconic actor had sustained injuries on the sets of his upcoming action thriller King, directed by Siddharth Anand.
The viral claim alleged that Shah Rukh Khan was hurt while filming, leading to an abrupt halt in production and an urgent trip to the United States for treatment.

Some reports even extended the speculation further, asserting that Khan would move to the UK for recovery, a narrative that caused considerable panic among his fan base.

However, credible sources have now debunked these reports as entirely baseless. According to an NDTV report, these injury rumours are nothing more than recycled misinformation.
A trusted insider clarified that while Shah Rukh has had injuries during past shoots — incidents that sometimes resurface in the public memory — there has been no recent mishap on the sets of King. The actor’s current visit to the US is part of his routine healthcare regimen, and not linked to any emergency or on-set accident.
The clarification also mentioned that Khan departed for the United States in the second week of July and is expected to return to India before the end of the month. There has been no disruption to the shooting schedule of King, and the production remains on track.
This isn’t the first time Shah Rukh Khan has been the target of such injury hoaxes. A previous rumour suggested he had suffered a nose injury during filming. That too was later revealed to be a false report — the actor had undergone a minor nasal surgery unrelated to any on-set incident.

The repetition of such speculative headlines highlights a troubling trend in online entertainment journalism, where attention-grabbing narratives often precede factual accuracy.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, King is billed as a high-octane action thriller that reunites Shah Rukh Khan with his director of Pathaan. The film also marks a major milestone: the big-screen debut of Khan’s daughter, Suhana Khan.
After her OTT appearance in The Archies (2023), Suhana will be seen sharing screen space with her legendary father — a generational moment that is already being touted as one of the film’s biggest attractions.
Set for a theatrical release sometime between October and December 2026, King boasts a stellar ensemble cast. Reports suggest that the film will feature heavyweights such as Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Rani Mukerji, Jackie Shroff, Arshad Warsi, and Abhay Verma, among others, further cementing its status as one of the most anticipated films of the coming year.
