‘King Khan’ To Smash Another Rs.1000 Crore Record With Jawan.

Looks like the “Baadshah” will continue to hold sway not only in Bollywood but around the globe. The “witty King” remains the potentate in Bollywood by setting the bar up in the sky with his new movie Jawan.

Within 17 days, the movie has crossed a total of $40.75 million, (339 crores) overseas. The only Bollywood movie which reached the threshold $40 million was Pathaan. Pathaan was the “King Khan”s” come back picture after his 3 year long hiatus.

Jawan has become the highest grossing Bollywood film of all times. Before, Pathaan held the record of highest grosser in Bollywood with RS. 534.05 crores in whole, as per the report. Though Pathaan”s winning raised question regarding will there ever be a movie that have the potential to outshine its glory, Jawaan leaves no space for qualms. Within 17 days of its release, Jawan has garnered Rs. 548 crores. Jawan was released in three languages. Tamil, Telugu and Hindi. Telugu and Tamil alone has collected Rs. 56 crore and the remaining of the Rs. 548 crores was collected by Hindi version alone.

The movie is inching closer to Rs.1000 crore record with Rs. 989 crores earning as of now as per the report. With two movies in row smashing all the record with poise, Shah Rukh Khan stays true to his words, “I am the last of stars”.

Jawan is an Atlee directional movie. Atlee is a south Indian film maker. The movie tells the story of a son and father who is all in for rectifying the social mess. Another notable aspect of the movies is its women army. In Jawan, the “forever women”s man” is accompanied by an army of savage women. The movie also stars Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, Priya Mani and Sanya Malhotra.
