The craze over the release of Mohanlal and Prithviraj’s upcoming sequel, L2: Empuraan, has been reaching new heights every day. As fans are buzzing with excitement, a Bengaluru-based college has taken an interesting step to celebrate Mohanlal’s political thriller.
The students of Good Shepherd College in Bengaluru have been left surprised as the administration has declared March 27 a holiday. Not for exams or for other official reasons but to witness the much-awaited sequel L2: Empuraan in theaters.
The surprise didn’t end there. The college is sponsoring a free First Day First Show (FDFS) for students to celebrate the stardom of the Mollywood superstar. The college management has secured an early morning 7 am show with free tickets at Movietime Cinemas, YGR mall, exclusively for their students.

As per the reports, this move of the management comes as a heartfelt tribute from the institution’s chairman, who is an admirer of Mohanlal. To make this legendary project of the actor a special one, the management has encouraged its students to witness the majestic craft of the actor in theaters.
Since the college will be hosting their graduation ceremony on March 26, the college was anyway planning to give a holiday for the students on March 27 after the event. And the management used this opportunity to express their love for Mohanlal.
