Produced by Mammootty Kampany, the trailer of Dominic And The Ladies’ Purse dropped today. The Mammootty starrer is the Malayalam directorial debut of Tamil director Gautham Vasudev Menon. The film will release in theatres on January 23.
Touted to be an action thriller, the character sketched by GVM will have the star playing a Sherlock-style character with a fun vibe.

The trailer opens to ‘Dominic Detecting Agency’ and the quest for the owner of a ladies purse. What starts as a simple case of a missing purse, becomes a two-man missing case and a murder.
Along with Mammootty and Gokul Suresh, the fun investigative ride also features actors like Lena, Siddique, Vijay Babu, and Pachuvum Athbutha Vilakkum-fame Viji Venkatesh in prominent roles. The film has been written by Dr. Neeraj Rajan and Dr. Suresh Rajan.
On the technical front, GVM has retained his previous collaborators, including his regular editor Anthony, cinematographer Vishnu Dev, one of the DOPs of Dhruva Natchathiram, and composer Darbuka Siva, known for his work in the director’s 2019 film Enai Noki Paayum Thota. This exciting take of Mammootty on Sherlock Holmes’ style has been written by the acclaimed duo Neeraj-Sooraj.
