The actor appears in folded arms, and his trimmed moustache adding handsomeness to the appearance. He is seen in the backdrop of a building and the black outfit in contrast to red shadowy lights of the structure adds extra lustre to his look.

George Martin is the name of Mammootty’s character in the movie, Kannur Squad. In the cop thriller, actor essayed the role of Assistant Sub Inspector of Police who is leading a four-member investigation team. The movie is inspired from a real-life police unit under the same title, formed by the former Kannur SP S Sreejith. The movie running successfully in theatres and Mammootty is receiving praises for nailing the police role to perfection.

Kannur Squad is directed by debutant Roby Varghese Raj, and written by Muhammed Shafi and Rony David Raj. The movie also features Rony David Raj, Shabareesh Varma, Azees Nedumangad, Vijayaraghavan, and Kishore in significant roles. The music is composed by Sushin Shyam and cinematography is handled by Muhammed Rahil. The movie is produced by Mammootty himself under the banner of Mammootty Kampany.
