The movie follows the story of Vasco da Gama, played by Mohanlal, and his gang of friends as they navigate a series of comic and chaotic misadventures. The film features an ensemble cast, including Kalabhavan Mani, Siddique, Jagathy Sreekumar, and Bhavana.

Initially, the film was planned to be re-released on May 21, 2025, to commemorate Mohanlal’s 65th birthday.

However, the makers postponed the release due to the phenomenal success of Mohanlal’s recent film Thudarum, which has crossed the Rs 200 crore milestone worldwide.

Co-producer Maniyanpilla Raju confirmed the postponement, stating that the success of Thudarum is the reason for the delay.
