Mohanlal's 'Kannappa' First Look Out: Introducing 'Kirata' - Master Of The Pashupatastra

Malayalam superstar Mohanlal, who is gearing up with his fantasy thriller Barroz, unlocked his next exciting venture in the Mukesh Kumar directorial titled Kannappa. The fierce first look of the star in the upcoming mythological drama is here to blow your brains.

In this interesting venture of actor Vishnu Manchu, the actor is set to essay the role of ‘Kirata.’ The makers unveiled the ferocity of Mohanlal’s character through a fascinating poster.

The character introduction of the actor comes with a description that radiates the intensity of the character, “Kirata—Master of the Pashupatastra. The voice over the victorious. The Legendary Kirata of the forest.”

In the poster, he is seen dressed in tribal attire with a sword in his hand. He is also seen sporting face paint and braided hair and looks strong and menacing.

Sharing the first look, the makers wrote, “The wait is over!  Behold the stunning full look of Lalettan, The Legend, Shri Mohanlal, as ‘Kirata’ in #Kannappa.  His dedication and brilliance illuminate this sacred tale of valor and devotion to life. Feel the divinity and grandeur unfold!”

Just like the title, Kannappa, the film revolves around the legend of Kannappa, a staunch devotee of the Hindu God, Shiva. The mythological drama was shot in New Zealand, Hyderabad, and other locations.

Produced by actor-producer Mohan Babu, the film also stars Mohan Babu, R. Sarathkumar, Arpit Ranka, Kaushal Manda, Rahul Madhav, and Devaraj in supporting roles. The music for this mythological thriller is composed by Stephen Devassy.
