While talking about his marriage with Sobhita, he said, “I found another love. Now living very happily and with mutual respect. Such things happen in many people’s lives. Then why only I am seen as a criminal?”

Chaitanya’s divorce from Samantha was a highly publicised event, with many fans expressing shock and disappointment.

However, Chaitanya clarified that the decision to separate was mutual and respectful. “We both chose our paths. We have our reasons for that. Respect each other’s decisions. Both of us are now living according to our wishes,” he said.

He also mentioned that his relationship with Sobhita developed organically and was not something that started intentionally while he was married to Samantha. He emphasised that his wife Sobhita has no connection to his past.

The actor also reflected on his own experiences growing up in a broken family, which made his decision to separate from Samantha a difficult but thoughtful one. “I thought 1000 times before taking this decision. Finally, this is a decision we have taken together,” he added.

Chay also talked about being called a “star kid,” explaining both the advantages and disadvantages of the label. He shared why he dislikes it and how he chooses to remain grounded despite the privileges that come with his family name.

On the ever-controversial topic of nepotism, he addressed whether he sees it as a problem or simply a family profession being passed down, offering an honest perspective on both sides of the argument.

Shifting the conversation to promotions, Chay discussed the drastic changes in the film industry, especially with social media playing such a massive role.

He explained whether actors have any say in how they promote their films or if everything is pre-planned. He also shared why he doesn’t prefer promoting movies alone and why he chose to appear on our show instead.

Chay further talked about his food venture, Shoyu, revealing where the idea came from and why he opted for the cloud kitchen model over a traditional restaurant. He also discussed the challenges and insights that come with running a food business, particularly for someone from the film industry.

He also talked about the emotional and professional toll of a film’s box-office failure, the dilemma of promoting a film when its potential is uncertain, and how he personally copes with setbacks.
