Prime Minister Modi Greets Rakul Preet And Jackky Bhagnani On their Wedding; Actress Shares Letter
Actress Rakul Preet Singh who tied the knot with actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani yesterday expressed her gratitude for Prime Minister Modi’s greeting on the actress’s marriage. Excited by Prime Minister”s greeting, the actress took to her social media platform X (formerly Twitter) and wrote, “Thank you so much Honourable Prime Minister Narendra Modi ji. Your blessings mean a lot to us.” She also shared the letter by the Prime Minister addressing Jackky”s parents, Vashu and Pooja Bhagnani.

The Prime Minister in the letter congratulated the newlyweds and greeted them on the occasion. “The Years to come are an opportunity for the couple to discover each other, while also embarking together on the path of self-discovery,” the Prime minister wrote. He further wished the couple to be perfect partners in their life and thanked them for the invitation to the wedding ceremony.
The couple posted their snaps in the wedding photos in a joint post on Instagram, with the caption, “Mine now and forever- 21-02-2024 #abdonobhagna-ni.”

Both had announced their relationship back in 2021, with Rakul in an interview saying, “I think it was very organic. We started hanging out together and then a couple of months down the line, like 2-3 months, 4 months we were just hanging out and without any facade of who we are. And the coincidence was we were almost neighbours and we didn”t even know. We were not even friends for so many years. Till the lockdown happened and then we started hanging with our friends and it just very organically grew into comfort.”
