Delhi-Dehradun Expressway Develops Huge Potholes Months After Inauguration By PM Modi
New Delhi: The Delhi-Dehradun Expressway, constructed at a cost of around Rs 12,000 crore and inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14 this year, has developed large potholes and cracks with the onset of the rainy season. Less than three months after the inauguration.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Delhi-Dehradun Expressway on April 14, 2026. Months later, the appearance of massive massive potholes on the expressway has sparked outrage among the people. Congress party has alleged large scale rampant corruption and embezzlement of funds in the construction of this expressway.

“This is not the first such case; across the country, whether it’s bridges or roads, highways or water tanks, railway stations or airport roofs— infrastructure is collapsing everywhere,” Congress wrote on its X handle, adding that it is clear that the Modi government is fatal for the country and the people.

Vehicles are being reportedly damaged due to the poor road conditions including leaking joints and cracked slabs.
