The junior artist filed a complaint alleging that she was raped by Mansoor on August 8, 2021, in Hyderabad as he offered her a role in upcoming scenes and arranged for her to stay in the same hotel with the film crew. He then allegedly spiked her drink and assaulted her in her room. The next morning, Mansoor allegedly blackmailed her with a nude photo, demanding money and continued to extort her multiple times by threatening her.

The junior artist reported the incident to the Gachibowli police station in Hyderabad, leading to rape charges against Mansoor. However, he allegedly fled with political support and was not arrested at his Kollam residence. The complainant claims that despite being booked by the police, Mansoor continued to work in films with prominent Malayalam industry figures. She also alleges that her complaint was ignored by the Chief Minister and Cultural Affairs Minister and stated that she will be fighting for justice as she was inspired to speak following the Hema Committee Report and further revelations.
