India has a new beauty queen to cheer for on the global stage. Manika Vishwakarma, a 22-year-old from Rajasthan, has been crowned Miss Universe India 2025, securing her place as the country’s representative at the upcoming 74th Miss Universe pageant in Thailand this November.
The dazzling finale was held in Jaipur on August 18, where Manika stood out among a strong group of finalists with her confidence, elegance, and advocacy for social causes. She received the crown from last year’s winner, Rhea Singha, in a grand ceremony filled with celebration and pride.
The top positions at the event saw tough competition. Tanya Sharma from Uttar Pradesh was named the first runner-up, while Mehak Dhingra from Haryana and Amishi Kaushik took the second and third runner-up spots, respectively.

Apart from her academic achievements, Manika is also a trained classical dancer and skilled painter, with her artworks being showcased at prestigious forums such as Lalit Kala Akademi and JJ School of Arts.
What makes Manika’s journey even more inspiring is her commitment to social causes. She is the founder of Neuronova, an initiative that works to change how society views neurodivergence. Her vision is to highlight conditions like ADHD not as disabilities, but as unique strengths that add to human diversity.
