Nandamuri Balakrishna, also known as Balayya, has completed 50 years in the cinema industry. The Telugu film industry is celebrating the occasion congratulating the stalwart. Biggies across the nation received invitation to the event, which is taking place today in Hyderabad.

Tamil superstar Rajinikanth took the opportunity to extend love to his “brother”. Taking to his X account, Rajinikanth said, “Action King! Collection King!Dialogue Delivery King! My lovely brother Balayya has completed 50yrs in the cinema industry and still going strong. A great achievement! My hearty congratulations to him and I wish him peace of mind, good health and happiness all his life. God Bless”.

Balayya, made his debut in the Telugu film industry with the film ‘Tatamma Kala’ (Great Grandmother’s Dream) in 1974. It was released on August 30. He will next appear in a film that is tentatively titled as BB4, and will mark his fourth collaboration with filmmaker Boyapati Sreenu. The duo had previously worked in the films ‘Simha’, ‘Legend’ and ‘Akhanda’.
