Actor-singer Shruti Haasan took to Instagram on Tuesday to inform fans that her official X (formerly Twitter) account had been hacked. The actor, who has around 7.8 million followers, cautioned users against interacting with any recent posts from her X profile, which has been compromised.
“Hi lovelies, just want to let you know my Twitter account has been hacked. That’s not me posting so don’t interact with that page till I’m back,” she posted on Instagram Stories, adding a folded hands and heart emoji.

Fans are advised to stay cautious and avoid clicking on suspicious links from Shruti’s compromised X account until it is fully restored.
Several bizarre posts related to bitcoin and promotional content appeared on Shruti’s X timeline on Tuesday. The last legitimate post from her account was dated June 23, in which she mused, “Am I the only one who feels way happier and way more uplifted and positive when the weather is gloomy and rainy? I can’t be the only one… makes me want write things and move hearts.”
The cyber breach follows Shruti’s high-octane live performance at the Thug Life audio launch in Chennai, where she performed Vinveli Nayaga live in front of music legend AR Rahman and the film’s cast.

Shruti is gearing up for her next big screen appearance in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s much-anticipated action thriller Coolie, starring Rajinikanth in the lead. The film, backed by Kalanithi Maran’s Sun Pictures, boasts a stellar ensemble cast including Nagarjuna, Upendra, Sathyaraj, Soubin Shahir, Sundeep Kishan, and Reba Monica John.
