Malayalam actor Siddique resigned as the general secretary of the actors’ association AMMA today. His resignation followed Revathy Sampath’s reiteration of her sexual abuse allegations against the senior actor, who has been active in the industry for more than four decades. Meanwhile, the young actress also alleged that she had a bad experience with actor Riyaz Khan, known for his villain roles in Malayalam and Tamil movies. The Ponniyin Selvan actor gained prominence after his negative role in the Malayalam film Balettan.
