Malayalam actor Sudhir Sukumaran, known for his villainous roles in films like CID Moosa and Kochi Rajav, has come forward with serious allegations of sexual and mental abuse against a “well-connected lady.” In a recent interview on a YouTube channel, the actor revealed that he was manipulated and exploited by this woman for three years during a difficult period in his life.
“I was treated as a ‘keep’ by a woman for three years. I was with her all this while. She used to give money whenever I wanted. She is well connected. I used to do whatever she wanted. She has been using me. That was when I had no work. After some time, she dumped me,” Sudhir confessed during the interview, which also featured his wife, Priya.

Reflecting on the aftermath, Sudhir said, “It was like I was thrown out. Where can I go and complain? Who will give me justice? If I go to court and say I want justice, will I get justice? I am telling the truth, that too in the presence of my wife. I was looking after their real estate and other things. The last thing you know is that it’s a scam.”

Priya added that the woman had even offered acres of land if she agreed to let her husband go, a proposition they both ultimately refused. Sudhir also revealed that his struggles with abuse began much earlier, saying, “A lot of men have abused me since childhood when I knew nothing.”

Sudhir revelations come at a time when the Malayalam film industry is under scrutiny following the release of the Hema Committee report. The report, which was submitted four years ago and released last week, highlights the prevalence of casting couch practices and other malpractices within the industry. Both the public and actors are calling for the government to take action on the findings.
