Bollywood star Salman Khan is reportedly set to collaborate with film producer Sajid Nadiadwala and director AR Murugadoss for a high-voltage action entertainer. Pinkvilla reported that this mega-budget film is likely to release during the Eid 2025 weekend.
Pinkvilla, citing sources, reported that Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have been discussing a probable collaboration “for a while.” Notably, their last joint venture was the Bollywood movie Kick in 2014. Sajid Nadiadwala also made his directorial debut with this film. Kick was a blockbuster and collected over Rs 200 crore at the box office. Salman Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala have also collaborated on several other hit films, including Mujhse Shaadi Karogi, Jaan-E-Mann, Judwaa, and Har Dil Jo Pyaar Karega.
The report also said that Sajid Nadiadwala and AR Murugadoss unanimously agreed that Salman Khan was the perfect choice for the movie. Salman Khan has also accepted the offer. “It was an instant yes from the superstar,” said the source, as quoted by Pinkvilla. AR Murugadoss is one of the most talented directors in Tamil cinema. In 2008, his maiden Hindi film, Ghajini, featuring Aamir Khan, created waves at the box office.
As per the report, the untitled movie will be shot in locations like Portugal and European countries, as well as in India. With a whopping budget of Rs 400 crore, the movie is expected to be the most ambitious project of Sajid Nadiadwala. The report also said that the shooting of the movie will begin in summer 2024, with a marathon schedule.
