Squashing rumors circulating on social media that he might extend support to a political party in the incoming Lok Sabha polls, he has however, expressed his willingness to advocate for the people if things were to change in the future.

The actor, known for his roles in films like Mark Antony, said, “I never sought political gains.” Vishal emphasized his readiness to lend his voice to issues concerning public, particularly highlighting his commitment to grassroots-level assistance.

Vishal”s political aspirations were thwarted in 2017 when his nomination for the RK Nagar assembly seat by-election in Chennai following former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa”s demise. His nomination was rejected by the presiding officer. Despite this setback, Vishal remains dedicated to his mission of serving the people and advocating for their rights.
