Actor Vishal’s marriage has been the topic of discussion for years. After years of waiting, the Madha Gaja Raja actor finally announced his wedding plans with actress Sai Dhanshika at a recent event. Vishal officially announced that he will tie the knot with the actress on August 29.
Recently, Vishal graced the trailer launch event of the film Yogi Da, headlined by Dhanshika. Following months of speculation, the duo finally unveiled their wedding plans and expressed their love and admiration for each other.

Who is Sai Dhanshika?
Versatile actress Sai Dhanshika is known for her impactful performances in Tamil, Telugu, and Kannada films. The 35-year-old actress, who is known for her impactful role in Kabali, starring alongside Superstar Rajinikanth, stepped into the world of cinema in 2006.
Born in Thanjavur, Dhanshika made her debut with the Tamil film Manathodu Mazhaikalam as a supporting character. She later did films like Maranthen Meimaranthen (2006) and Thirudi (2006), with her name credited as Marina. In 2009, her Kannada debut film, Kempa, reintroduced her as Dhanshika in the world of cinema.
Paradesi: The breakthrough
The 2009 action-adventure film featuring Ravi Mohan, Peranmai, brought a breakthrough in her career. The actress, who played the role of Jennifer, among a group of five girls, caught the attention of the audience for her bold and courageous portrayal. The success of the film reintroduced her as a lead actress in films like Maanja Vel (2010), Nil Gavani Sellathey (2010), and Aravaan (2012).
In 2023, she redefined her boundaries as a mainstream actress with a captivating performance in the award-winning film Paradesi (2013). She also won the Filmfare Awards South’s Best Tamil Supporting Actress award for her role as Maragadam in the film. Dhanshika also played many impactful roles in Tamil films like Kabali (2016), Ya Ya (2013), Thiranthidu Seese (2015), Uru (2017), Vizhithiru (2017), Kaala Koothu (2017), and Laaban (2021), among others.
She recently gained the attention of the audience with the Zee5 series, Aindham Vedham, a sci-fi mythological thriller.
Other language films
Apart from Tamil, she has also worked in the Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam film industries. She made her Malayalam debut in 2017 with Dulquer Salman’s experimental anthology film Solo
She made her Telugu debut in 2022 with the film titled Shikaaru. She also worked in films like Anthima Theerpu (2024) and Dhakshina (2024).

While dating rumors of the duo have been making headlines for quite some time, they confirmed their relationship during the trailer launch of the film Yogi Da. The engagement is likely to happen shortly, with the wedding expected around the end of August or early September 2025.

While announcing their marriage plans, Dhanshika said that she has known Vishal for 15 years and shared that the actor has raised his voice for her whenever she was in trouble. While radiating the respect she held for the actor, she said, “There is only one thing. I want him to be happy.”
Vishal also confirmed the relationship by saying, “God always saves the best for the last. That way, I think he has saved Dhanshika for the last. We are going to lead a very positive and lovely life.”
