South actress expresses “disgust” at politician AV Raju’s defamatory comments. In a recent press interaction, AV Raju, former AIADMK politician made few derogatory comments against actress Trisha. The politician accused her of allegedly receiving Rs 25 lakhs former CM Edapaddi Palaniswami in exchange for engaging physically with the actress. He went on to add that all actresses are the same.

The statement form Raju went viral and has been circulating through social media. Many criticised the statement and urged the actress to take action. Trisha responded to the statement with her own statement on social media.

Taking to her X account, Trisha called the statement disgusting. She said severe actions will be taken, and anything that needs to be done “henceforth will be from my legal department”.

Soon after the Leo star’s statement was released, Raju posted another video in which his demeanor appeared to be completely in contrast to before. In the video he said nothing about the actress, and added that he is ready to apologise if needed.

Mansoor Ali Khan who was publicly shamed previously for his statement against Trisha came forward in support of the actress. He said “disgusting talk about sisters in the film industry by a politician. It’s mind-boggling to talk about actresses in this way. Strict action should be taken against the defamer”.

Mansoor Ali Khan, who worked with the actress in Leo allegedly said that he had lost out an opportunity to do a “bedroom scene” with Trisha. He was condemned for his comment and later apologised.

Now, following Khan, actor Vishal came forward in support of the actress. Taking to his X account, Vishal called the politician “stupid idiot”. He said, “I just heard that a stupid idiot from a political party spoke very ill and disgustingly about someone from our film fraternity. I will not mention your name nor the name of the person you targeted because I know you did it for publicity. I definitely will not mention names because we are not just good friends but also mutual co artistes in the film fraternity”. In a rather long post, Vishal, who is also general secretary of artist association said, “I hope you rot in hell”.
