Salman Khan is known for ignoring negativity online, but this time on Bigg Boss 18, he decided to address some false claims made by Ashneer Grover who is a former Shark Tank India judge and entrepreneur.

Khan, fresh from filming his upcoming movie ‘Sikandar’ brought his trademark wit and honesty to the conversation on Bigg Boss 18’s weekend episode.

During the show, Salman Khan confronted Ashneer about his past statements. “I’ve heard you talking about me,” Salman said. “You said you signed me for a certain amount, but the figures were wrong. What’s with the double standards?”

Ashneer took a pause and then respectfully replied that making Salman a brand ambassador was one of his smartest moves.

However, Salman pointed out that Ashneer’s attitude in the past was different from his current respectful demeanour.


Ashneer tried to clarify saying that his words might not have come across correctly in a podcast. Salman ended the conversation by saying that Ashneer’s current attitude was more genuine.


The clip went viral and fans quickly rallied behind Salman. One fan posted about Ashneer’s fake statements being exposed and another praised Salman for putting the “arrogant” Ashneer in his place.
