Lucknow: In a promotional event that saw Bollywood stars Akshay Kumar and Tiger Shroff making a grand entrance in Lucknow to promote their forthcoming film, “Bade Miyan Chote Miyan,” chaos erupted as the crowd swelled beyond expectations.

The event, held at the historical Ghantaghar Chowk in old Lucknow, initially drew a massive crowd of eager fans eager to catch a glimpse of the actors. However, according to reports from various news agencies, including ANI and Hindustan Times, the situation quickly turned chaotic, leading to confusion and conflict amongst attendees.

Amidst the frenzy, it was reported that several slippers were hurled towards Akshay Kumar while he was on stage, prompting concerns for the safety of the actors and the audience. The police authorities, caught off guard by the unexpectedly large turnout, struggled to maintain order as the crowd multiplied.

A video shared by Uttar Pradesh-based journalist Piyush Rai depicted the tense atmosphere, showing individuals in the crowd throwing slippers, although the exact direction of the projectiles remains uncertain.

According to eyewitnesses, as the event progressed and the crowd grew larger, it became increasingly challenging to control despite the presence of security forces. The chaos caused interruptions in the proceedings, disrupting the planned activities for a significant period.

While reports indicate that slippers were indeed thrown, the motives behind the actions and the intended targets remain unclear. As of now, neither Akshay Kumar nor Tiger Shroff have made any public statements regarding the incident. Nonetheless, the organizers of the event have assured that they are cooperating with authorities to address the situation and ensure the safety of future events.
