As Shah Rukh Khan‘s heartwarming encounters and win at International Indian Film Academy (IIFA) Awards 2024 (IIFA) create buzz on social media, there is another treat for SRK fans. The upcoming film of the actor with his daughter Suhana Khan, King, will reportedly be officially announced on his birthday, November 2.

The entry of the father-daughter duo in Bollywood has been a sensation among fans for a while. The wait is expected to end as the team is set to make a official announcement soon. Set to be directed by Sujoy Gosh and produced by Siddharth Anand, the film will also feature Abhishek Bachchan and Munjya star Abhay Verma.

Music composer Anirudh Ravichander has been brought on board to create a banging musical treat for fans. Reports also indicate that the music composer has already began working on the tunes.

On the other hand, the actor and his daughter are currently preparing for the action sequences in the film. With the pre production set to commence in October, the shooting of the film will is expected to commence from January 2025. The makers have chosen Budapest as the shooting location, as its cold weather provides the desired atmosphere for the film, as per media reports.

The actor won the Best Actor Award at the IIFA Awards 2024 for his film Jawan on Saturday. In his heartfelt acceptance speech, King Khan thanked his wife Gauri and joked that she was the only wife who spends more on her husband than the other way around. After attending the award ceremony where the actor returned to hosting after a long time, SRK landed in Mumbai and is set to get back to working on the upcoming project.
