'The Perfect Couple' Trailer: Ishaan Khatter Shines In The Twisty Netflix Thriller
Netflix has set the track to take you on a thrilling ride of crime and investigation tomorrow. If you are a fan of Big Little Lies and Knives Out, this series may be the one for you. Crime thriller fans assemble here because Netflix has finally unveiled the trailer of its limited series The Perfect Couple.
The streaming platform called its viewers to cancel their plans this Thursday and instead get glued to their seats for the Nicole Kidman starrer mystery series. The six-episode series will be released on September 5. “Two days until THE PERFECT COUPLE arrives so cancel your plans now” wrote Netflix on Instagram.

The trailer opens with introducing a perfect family – The Winbury, headed by novelist Greer (Kidman) and her husband, Tag (Liev Schreiber). And take you to the opulent coastal setting, which shatters the perfection of the family as they prepare for the wedding of their son Benji, a dead body turns up on the beach and drags everyone in the family into the list of potential murderers.

The back-to-back shots of the investigation, the hidden truths, the rise of suspicions as everyone hides the truth from the local cops builds up the suspense levels. It also leans into a guilty-pleasure vibe and invites viewers to “devour the most delicious, indulgent, shocking show on TV.”
“Amelia Sacks is about to marry into one of the wealthiest families on Nantucket. Her disapproving future mother-in-law, famous novelist Greer Garrison Winbury, has spared no expense in planning what promises to be the premiere wedding of the season — until a body turns up on the beach. As secrets come to light, the stage is set for a real-life investigation that feels plucked from the pages of one of Greer’s novels. Suddenly, everyone is a suspect,” the official synopsis read.
Moreover, Bollywood actor Ishaan Khatter makes his way. Apart from The Perfect Couple, he will also be seen in another Netflix project titled The Royals.

The ensemble cast of the show also features Dakota Fanning, Jack Reynor, Ishaan Khatter, Meghann Fahy, Sam Nivola, Mia Isaac, and Isabelle Adjani. The Perfect Couple is based on a best-selling novel by Elin Hilderbrand; Jenna Lamia (Good Girls, Awkward) adapted the novel and serves as a showrunner.
