AAP's Deepak Singla Arrest: Party Chief Kejriwal Alleges Political Pressure After Refusing BJP Offer

New Delhi: The Enforcement Directorate (ED) arrested AAP leader Deepak Singla in an alleged money laundering case. Following the arrest, the party chief Arvind Kejriwal on Monday, May 18, alleged that Singla was arrested after refusing to join the BJP. The arrest was the consequence of rejecting the BJP offer.

In a social media post on X, the AAP supremo wrote, “Deepak Singla was not arrested because he did any wrong. Rather, he was arrested because he was working against the BJP and refused to join the BJP. Deepak is brave and fighting for the country.”

The ED officials claimed that they recovered incriminating documents from searches in Delhi and Goa, leading to Singla’s arrest. The raid began around 6:00 am on Monday at his residence and other premises.
