AAP Chief Arvind Kejriwal Accuses Meta Of Restricting His Instagram In India
New Delhi: The AAP chief Arvind Kejriwal claimed that Meta has allegedly restricted his social media accounts in India. The AAP leader said the move made his Instagram account unavailable in India without providing a valid reason, process for removal, or clear explanation.
Kejriwal shared screenshots showing his account with over 4 million followers still visible, but flagged as unavailable to users in India under an orange warning icon. He contacted Meta’s India office and sent emails, receiving only standard replies.
The AAP leader warned the tech giant that yielding too much to authorities might leave the platform running just the prime minister’s account.
