AK Antony's Wife Reveals How Intercessory Prayers Helped Anil K Antony's Decision To Join BJP.
Congress leader AK Antony”s wife Elizabeth Antony reveals why son Anil K Antony joined BJP. In a video which is going viral now, Ms. Antony speaks about the reasons that led her son in taking the other road in politics. The video was first shared on the YouTube channel of the Catholic Christian Shrine.
According to Ms. Antony, intercessory prayers aided greatly in landing her son new opportunities in politics. In the video, the mother shared how she resent BJP in the beginning but later when her son asked for her approval in joining the Bharatiya Janata Party, St. Mary removed her resentment towards the party.
While talking in a recent function of Kreupasanam Marian Shrine, she said that her son always wanted to do better in politics but Congress became against dynasty politics and this took the family to crossroad. As per the video, Anil K Antony recieved a call from PMO asking to join BJP. Anil K Antony joined BJP in April this year.
She said, “Anil”s greatest aspiration was to enter politics. However, his dream faced a significant obstacle when the Congress passed a resolution against dynasty politics during the Chintan shivir. This meant that my son, now 39 year old, had to consider his future carefully. One day, he called me and informed me that the PMO had contacted him, inviting him to join BJP while we have deep-rooted beliefs in the INC, having dedicated our lives to the party, we found ourselves at a crossroads”.
He was at digital media cell department while serving for Congress. After joining BJP, Anil K Antony slammed Congress by stating that instead of serving the country, the Congress leaderships are “serving the interest of a single family”. According to him Congress was heading in “destructive” direction.
The BJP leader”s father AK Antony is a renowned Congress leader. The former union minister was at the legislative assembly and Rajya Sabha for five times and was Chief Minister of Kerala. The senior Antony came to know about the decision from Television and called it “wrong move”.
