Amid Ram Mandir Donation Row: Mathura's Krishna Janmabhoomi Priest Alleges Massive Financial Fraud
Mathura, Uttar Pradesh: Amid row over financial irregularities in the Ram Mandir donation transaction, a priest in Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi movement recently sent a letter written in his own blood to the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath. The priest has alleged massive financial fraud and demanded a CBI investigation into donations management of Shri Krishna Janmasthan temple.
The petitioner, Dinesh Maharaj, is a key figure in the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi movement. While demanding urgent action into the matter, he alleged that donations are not being managed properly. Maharaj accused members of the temple’s managing committee of misappropriating donation funds and jewellery.
He further warned that he would approach the Allahabad High Court seeking judicial intervention, if the state government did not take any action in the matter. The temple management has not yet publicly responded to the allegations.
Recently, there has been a controversy in connection with Ram Mandir donation box theft, and a special police investigation surrounding the alleged embezzlement of millions of rupees in cash and jewelry from the contribution boxes at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Temple in Ayodhya.
