Andhra Pradesh: Wife And Lover Kill Husband During Spiritual Trip To Mallappa Konda Temple
Chittoor, Andhra Pradesh: Police have arrested a 19-year-old woman, identified as Hasini, and her 20-year-old lover, identified as Yugandhar, along with two other accomplices for allegedly killing the woman’s husband in Andhra Pradesh’s Chittoor district.
The victim, 23-year-old Ramesh, a resident of Tamil Nadu, had been married to Hasini for two years, and the couple had a toddler daughter. Though the family members say their married life is perfect and seemed to be ordinary, police investigation revealed that the woman had secretly maintained a relationship with her childhood friend, Yugandhar. The duo allegedly planned to remove Hasini’s husband and plotted the murder.

Under the guise of a sacred family outing, the woman convinced her husband Ramesh to take her and their young daughter to the Sri Malleshwara Swamy Temple atop the Mallappa Konda hills. The woman and her boyfriend had planned a trap in the isolated road, and she kept sharing their real-time location with Yugandhar over her mobile phone on their way along the hairpin hill road.
Hasini threw her handbag onto the road to make his stop. When Ramesh pulled over to retrieve it, Yugandhar and his associates emerged from the shadows. Though he tried to escape, the accused chased and hacked him to death with sharp weapons.
Upon not seeing the couple, Hasini’s mother approached the local police, who then checked the CCTV footage along the temple route, which revealed the horrific truth.
Investigators spotted a jarring discrepancy that Ramesh was seen riding toward the temple with his family. But the subsequent footage showed Hasini riding away on his motorcycle with two other men, leaving her husband behind. Using technical analysis, mobile phone records, and GPS location tracking, police recovered Ramesh’s body from the forest.
The officials then arrested Hasini, her lover Yugandhar, and two accomplices.
