Bengaluru, Karnataka: Bengaluru police have registered a case against PE teacher Narayana after 12-year-old student collapsed and died at a private residential school in Bengaluru. The Class 6 deceased student, identified as Guru Kiran, reportedly died after being given punishment to jog three round on the ground.
The family of the boy has alleged that the PE teacher physically assaulted the boy during the morning drill, and made to jog three rounds, leading to his death. Following the complaint, a murder case has been filed against the PE teacher at the Sterling English Residential School in Kadayarappanahalli.

The school authorities reportedly shifted the student to hospital where he was declared dead, allegedly due to cardiac arrest. The family was informed after the death of the students raising suspicion.
Gurukiran’s father Raghavendra told the media that he received a call from the school management around 6.45 am on Wednesday, informing him that his son had collapsed while jogging on the school campus and had been rushed to a hospital. When they reached the hospital, they were informed that their son had died.
Following the incident, the family stormed the campus and allegedly vandalised school property, assaulted the physical education (PE) teacher, and threatened to set him on fire. The victim’s classmates also told reporters that he had gone to the toilet before the scheduled morning exercise around 5.30 am, after which the newly appointed PE teacher allegedly beat him. The students said that Gurukiran was then forced to run two rounds of the school campus despite the assault and collapsed while running.
