Another Theft Reported At Gujarat's Ambaji Temple: Employee Booked For Hiding Cash While Counting Donations
Banaskantha, Gujarat: Amid the rising temple theft reports, including from the Ram Temple donations, another incident has emerged from Gujarat’s famous Ambaji Temple in Banaskantha district. CCTV footage shows men counting cash were seen hiding bundles of cash under their legs.
The viral video claims outsourced employee Chirag Thakor is hiding currency notes under his feet while counting cash donations. Police have booked the accused following a complaint by the temple administration. A detailed investigation is underway.

Notably, the incident comes to light amid a trend in which several temples were reported missing valuables to thefts, including the alleged embezzlement of millions of rupees in cash and valuables offered by devotees at the Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Mandir in Ayodhya.
Several users on social media got outraged by the rising theft incident from famous temples in the country. Saral Patel, a Congress worker, slammed the ruling BJP government and the Prime Minister Modi for the recurrent thefts.

Alleging that the BJP is playing with Hindu’s father, he wrote on his X handle that the loot of temple funds is happening everywhere under the BJP and Narendra Modi.
