Bengaluru CEO Kills 4-Year-Old Son In Goa, Caught While Fleeing

The CEO of Bengaluru-based startup company, 39-year-old Suchana Seth on Monday was arrested for allegedly murdering her 4-year-old son in Goa, while fleeing back to Karnataka with the deceased stuffed in a bag. Suchana Seth, the CEO of Mindful AI Lab was arrested by the Karnataka Police from Chitradurga.

Suchana Seth committed this heinous crime in an apartment in north Goa’s Candolim. The motive for the shocking crime is not yet known.

Ms Seth along with his son checked into the hotel on January 6 in North Goa’s Sinquerim. The accused left the hotel on Monday and asked the hotel staff to book a taxi to Bengaluru. When advised to take a flight for her return journey, she insisted on taking taxi.

The hotel staffs, while cleaning the room noticed blood stains, being suspicious, the hotel manager informed the police. The CCTV footages revealed that the accused left the hotel alone.

She initially told the police she had left her son with a relative in South Goa, but the story didn’t check out. We called the cab driver and asked him to report to the nearest police station. She was nabbed with the help of Karnataka Police in Chitradurga district while on the way to Bengaluru,” the officer at the Calangute Police station said, says Hindustan Times.

The Goa police arrested Ms Seth by diverting the cab to the nearest police station in Chitradurga, around 200 km from Bengaluru.

After reaching the police station, the Chitradurga police found the body of the four-year-old inside the bag she was travelling with. Ms Seth’s husband, Venkat Raman, who is working as an AI developer headed to Chitradurga after the police called him, says NDTV.

The accused has been then taken to Goa for further interrogation.
