Prime Minister Narendra Modi delivered the 104th episode of his monthly radio show Mann Ki Baat on August 27. The show covers current developments and news events in India since the last episode. Mr Modi also detailed the recent achievements the nation secured.

The last show was held on July 30 when topics to India”s independence day celebrations dominated the talks. The first episode of the show was aired on October 3, 2014.

Highlights of the 104th episode aired at 11 am on August 27

  • Mr Modi lauded the commendable effort of (ISRO Indian Space Research Organisation) scientists on Chandryaan-3 mission. The mission is a living example of women power of India, he added. Chandrayaan-3 is India”s third lunar mission under project Chandrayaan and became the first country to achieve a historic remark of landing at the moon’s South Pole.
  •  PM declared that, India is ready for the upcoming G20 Summit to be held in Delhi from September 8-10. The G20 or Group of 20 is an intergovernmental forum comprising 19 countries and the European Union. It works to address major issues to the global economy, such as international financial stability, climate change mitigation and sustainable development.
  • PM appreciated the winners of World University Games 2023. He also interacted with some players who participated, including Archer Pragati.
  • As part of the recent Independence Day celebrations, over 10 crore people submitted their selifies with national flag, Mr Modi expressed in delight.
  • “We all know that Sanskrit is one of the oldest languages ​​in the world. It is also called the mother of many modern languages. Sanskrit is known for its antiquity as well as for its scientificity and grammar”, said Mr Modi praising the efforts taken to promote Sanskrit in recent times.
  • Mr Modi greeted the nation on behalf of the upcoming World Sanskrit Day on 31 August along with the upcoming Raksha Bandhan Festival.
  • He congratulated the public”s effort to make the dairy sector more efficient.
