CJP's Tiranga Protest At Connaught Place Today: Police Beef Up Security Around Key Locations
New Delhi: Cockroach Janta Party (CJP)’s planned Lehra Do Tiranga march is all set to take place at Central Park in Connaught Place in Delhi today, October 16, following the de-notification of Jantar Mantar as protest site.
The march called party CJP founder Abhijeet Dipke, follows the remand of CJP leaders Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka to judicial custody after they entered Jantar Mantar on October 13, allegedly violating the de-notification of Jantar Mantar by Delhi police. The CJP along with Opposition parties have been protesting against Chief Election Commissioner of India over alleged irregularities and compromises in the recent SIR.
