
Gadkari's '3.5 Lakh Supporters' Votes Cut' Remark Resurfaces As ECI Faces Heat After Rahul Gandhi's Big Revelation
New Delhi: A video of Union Road Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari is doing the rounds on social media amid the political chaos surrounding Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s explosive revelation about alleged collusion between the BJP and the Election Commission of India (ECI) to benefit the 2024 Lok Sabha poll result to the former.
The now resurfaced video shows the union minister saying that 3.5 lakh of his supporters were removed from the voters’ list. The video shows journalist Rajdeep Sardesai asking the minister if it was part of a conspiracy to weaken his vote bank and defeat him, Gadkari responds saying he does not blame anyone.

“But the truth is 3.5 lakh votes were cut from the list, even my family members were removed,” the minister was heard saying in a video shared by India Today.
Gadkari is one of the popular leaders in the BJP and also a cabinet minister during the two terms of the Modi government, known to the people for transforming the public road infrastructure.
