Girl Had His Name Tattooed, Travelled With Him: Delhi HC Reduces Rape Convict's Sentence
New Delhi: The Delhi High Court reduced the sentence of a rape convict noting that the victim girl had his name tattooed on her chest.
The court reduced the convicted man’s sentence for kidnapping and rapping the 14-year-old girl. The court further noted that the girl had also voluntarily travelled with the convicted man to Manali.

While hearing the case, Justice Vimal Kumar Yadav said the circumstances indicated that the two were in an amorous relationship. The court, however, noted girl’s age meant that the relationship could not legally be recognised.
