Kapil Sharma And 3 Other Celebrities Receive Death Threats, Case Filed (image:x.com/KapilSharmaK9)
New Delhi: Bollywood celebrities including actor and comedian Kapil Sharma, actor Rajpal Yadav, choreographer Remo D’Souza, and actor-singer Sugandha Mishra has received death threats via email recently. An FIR has been registered with Amboli Police against an unknown person under section 351(3) of Bhartiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS).
As per initial investigation, Police says threat email was sent from Pakistan.

“We are monitoring your recent activities and we believe it is important that we bring to your attention a sensitive matter. This is not a publicity stunt or an attempt to harass you, we urge you to treat this message with utmost seriousness and confidentiality,” the email read.
In the threat correspondence, sender was signed off under the name ‘BISHNU’.
Kapil Sharma recently filed a complaint with the police. Before him, Sugandha Mishra and Remo D’Souza had also registered complaints at the police station after receiving the threat mail.
Rajpal Yadav received the threat mail on December 14 last year. In the mail, man calling himself Bishnu threatened to kill Kapil Sharma and his team since his show is being sponsored by Salman Khan. Following, Rajpal Yadav’s wife, Radha Rajpal Yadav filed a police complaint at the Amboli Police Station in Mumbai.

The Amboli police have traced the IP address to Pakistan and are seeking help from the government to correspond with Pakistan, Hindustan Times reports. In the mail, recipient has been warned that if his demands were not met within eight hours, they could face consequences. However, details of his demands have not been revealed yet.
