Jalgaon, Maharashtra: Joining a Ganesh procession, a police officer identified as Pawan Desale allegedly brandished a lathi in front of a mosque in Maharashtra’s Chopda. The video showed the officer celebrating the event with BJP workers in Jalgaon.
The incident has sparked debates especially in the wake of the recent transfer of a Muslim IPS officer, Bushra Bano, after facing complaints for using phrases such as “Inshallah” and “Jazakallah”
